Merry Christmas

Season’s greetings one and all! Merry Christmas and a happy new year! I am unfortunately unable to offer any particularly festive images of Kew, so instead here’s another look at dear old Hidcote under snow. See you in 2013!

Each one of those snow photos could be a Christmas card. I enjoyed walking into them with my eyes.

Merry Christmas Bertie, super snowy images, made me feel quite festive as I sit here with the wind crashing around my house.

How magical... I was enjoying the formal gardens topped in snow and then the Beech Allee took my breath away! There is something about wildness on the edge of a more formal garden that is captivating. (And I am in the middle of Robinson's "The Wild Garden", so it is especially fresh.) Thanks for taking us back to Hidcote for a bit.
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

Woohoo! I've caught up with you :D

Cracking winter pictures of my favourite garden Bertie! Thanks.

(The Hidcote Dream didn't die, it's still there with you, wrapped in brown paper, tied with garden twine and stored in a safe place in your heart).

Happy New Year Bertie! I hope that all goes well at Kew and you enjoy your different dream just as much as the last one :)
